Founded back in 2013 by the late Sheikh Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Alef Group is one of the leading real estate development companies Sharjah. Alef Group is famed for creating not only high quality residential communities, but also business and leisure projects in order to support tourist and retail sectors within the emirate. In particular, the first development was the iconic Zero 6 Mall which opened back in 2018 with never before seen brands, having proven to be highly successful among Sharjah residents and visitors. The history of Alef Group started when the late Sheikh Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the second son of Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah since 1972, decided to diversify his interests after having established the Qasimi fashion brand in London and having become the Chairman of the Sharjah Urban Planning Council. Thanks to these activities, in 2014, the Alef Group company had a very decent platform with a total of AED 4B worth of assets, and a land bank of AED 1B. As of Q2 2022, according to the statement of the master developer on its official website, their real estate portfolio includes AED 7B worth of projects.
